The production showcased how much the music and dance has changed in the Hindi film industry dating back to the 1950’s, right up
to the modern day.
The show featured songs from the last seven decades including classics from films such as ‘Aradhana’, ‘Sholay’, ‘Dil Se’ and many more.
The production, as always, was a charity event and the proceeds went to:
St. Gemma’s Hospice (Registered Charity No. 1015941) and
SEWA International (Registered Charity No. 1135425).
The show included students of all ages from Trishool Dance Academy’s dance classes and also performances from the Trishool Dhol Team who put together some exciting pieces that got everybody in the mood for a fantastic night!
To add more flavour to the night, Indian snacks were served during the interval and was included in the ticket price. A big thank you to Meena’s Cafe & Lounge for delivering an excellent selection of food for everybody to enjoy!
