On 15th September 2009, Trishool Dance Academy showcased their first ever production,‘TRISHOOL – The Story of Bollywood’.
The production was held at Carr Manor High School in front of a 350 strong audience. Extra seating arrangements were made to cater for the queues of people who were waiting to purchase tickets on the door.
Trishool took the audience back in time to the 1950’s and showed how Bollywood has evolved right up to the modern day. The show featured many of the classic songs from the past six decades and were brought back to life by Trishool.
On the night there were also performances from dhol players, tabla players and sitar players who put together some exciting pieces that made sure everybody was in the mood for a taste of Bollywood!
This event was a charity event and the chosen charities were Saraswati Vidyalaya and Kirkwood Hospice.
A MASSIVE £1346.46 was raised!
Indian snacks were also served on the night and were included in the ticket price.
