On 1st & 2nd October 2010, Trishool Dance Academy hosted their second annual production titled 'Trishool's Indian Summer'.
Trishool took the audience on a tour through 15 states to show how the different regions of India have influenced the music and dance in Hindi films.
The journey began in the North Eastern part of India, and ended up with an overview of India as a country to see how all the influences are fused together to create what we now know as...Bollywood!
The production included students from Trishool's dance classes, along with the Trishool Tabla and Dhol team.
All money raised from this event went to our nominated charities:
SEWA UK (reg. charity no. 267309) and
WWF-UK (reg. charity no. 1081247).
A raffle draw took place each night and there were plenty of raffle prizes to be won!
Food was provided by Malik’s restaurant (www.maliksrestaurant.co.uk) and was included in the ticket price.
