Bollywood dance is a fusion of dance styles heavily influenced by classical Indian dance forms such as Kathak and Bharatnatyam. Over the years, Bollywood has incorporated many different Indian folk styles such as Bhangra (Panjabi), along with Western dance styles more recently such as Street,

Hip-Hop and Jazz. This blend of Eastern and Western dance forms can only be described

as energetic, entertaining and colourful! This is Bollywood!

Trishool dancers are best known for their display of innovative Bollywood themed choreography and abundance of energy in performances. Our Bollywood dance classes give all students training on exactly that, and much much more! Students receive training on how to execute choreography effectively along with the most effective use of the stage, expressions, interpretation of lyrics and translating them into movements. Not to mention team-building when dancing as part of a group,

as well as building your own confidence to bring your own individuality out on stage.

Trishool train over 100 students every week and hold classes suitable for all ages, abilities and backgrounds. Previous dance experience is not required to be able to attend a Trishool Bollywood dance class. So if you have grown up admiring the work of the Bollywood superstars, or if you are looking to try something completely new, Trishool's Bollywood classes are definitely for you!
