6th May 2012 - CONGRATULATIONS HARINDER!
A BIG CONGRATULATIONS to Harinder Rayat...sorry...Harinder Bhachu, who got married today to Pardip Singh! Harinder was part of the Trishool Dance Academy team when the academy was founded back in 2008 and stopped after her engagement in 2011.
We wish you both a very happy married life and thank you Harinder for all that you have done to help get the group where it is today. Congratulations and we will miss you loads! Lots of Love, The Trishool team!

11th April 2012 - USTAD RAHAT FATEH ALI KHAN CONCERT!
Two years running and cannot wait to go again next year! What an amazing night and a truly amazing voice! Trishool Dance Academy were completely blown away by the living legend that is Ustad Rahat Fateh Ali Khan. Cannot wait for next year!

24th March 2012 - SAINSBURY'S GETS FLASH MOBBED!
Trishool pulled in a huge crowd at Sainsbury's in the White Shopping Centre today to promote Sport Relief 2012! Members of the Sainsbury's staff supported the stunt by surrounding the performance area with collection buckets.
A great day all for a great cause! Well done to all those involved in the flash mob stunts around Leeds!

17th March 2012 - SPORT RELIEF PROMOTION A SUCCESS!
Trishool Dance Academy took to the streets of Leeds today to promote Sport Relief 2012! The Trishool team performed a 'flash mob' stunt at 3 different locations in Leeds City Centre.
At 10.45am, Trishool surprised shoppers in Victoria Quarter, the team stunned passers-by in The Light at 12.40pm and then finally, drew in the crowds on Briggate at 1.30pm.
The publicity stunts were such a huge success that word had immediately spread to the White Rose Centre. Trishool will now be performing another 'flash mob' stunt next Saturday in Sainsbury's at 1pm. Do not miss out!

1st March 2012 – SPORT RELIEF 2012 PROJECT UNDERWAY!

26th February 2012 – USTAD RAHAT FATEH ALI KHAN CONCERT TICKETS BOOKED!
After seeing Ustad Rahat Fateh Ali Khan & Group last year at the O2 Apollo in Manchester, Trishool will be going to see the living legend again on the 11th April 2012 in Manchester Arena. We cannot wait!

20th February 2012 – HAPPY MAHASHIVRATRI!
To all those that are celebrating, Happy Mahashivratri! N.H.S.F Huddersfield deserves a mention for holding their first flagship event which was a huge success! To all involved in the Mahashivratri Puja, well done! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and were completely amazed by the talent of N.H.S.F Huddersfield President Dhruv Jogia on the Pakhawaj, and Tabla artist Rishii Chowdhury. Pure talent!

Lord Mayor Councillor Reverend Alan Taylor has confirmed that he will be attending Trishool Dance Academy's 3rd annual production, 'Trishool - Legends: Revival of the Bollywood Greats'. 12th August 2011 – CHARITIES FOR ‘TRISHOOL – LEGENDS: REVIVAL OF THE BOLLYWOOD GREATS’
Trishool Dance Academy can confirm the charities that we will be raising money for. The local charity that we will be donating 50% of all profits from the event is Candlelighters. Candlelighters (Registered Charity No: 1045077) is a charity formed and run by parents of children who have or have had cancer, ex-patients and the medical staff who treat them. Based in Yorkshire, Candlelighters provides essential services and support to children with cancer and their families.
The international charity that we will be donating the other 50% of all profits from the event will be Sewa UK. Sewa UK (Registered Charity No: 1135425) raises money to rebuild communities struck by natural disasters and humanitarian tragedies in India. They build schools, fund education projects, improve healthcare facilities, and reach out to those who've suffered to lend a helping hand.

16th July 2011 – WEDDING SEASON WELL UNDERWAY!
This evening, Trishool added their own unique touch to a private wedding function in Manchester. Some coments from guests attending the special occasion were, 'I have seen dancers before...but I have never seen dancing as good as that!' and 'You guys completely nailed everything...it was truly amazing!'. The feedback from the newlyweds was, 'You guys completely exceeded all expectations! It was just perfect...absolutely perfect!'. From all of us at Trishool Dance Academy, we wish you all the best!

26th June 2011 – USTAD RAHAT FATEH ALI KHAN & GROUP!
Last night at the O2 Apollo in Manchester, Trishool attended the Ustad Rahat Fateh Ali Khan UK Tour concert. In the words of comedian Russell Peters, this show was 'MIND-BLAAASTING!'. The live performance from the living legend himself and his group was truly out of this world. For those who attended the concert, we hope you enjoyed it as much as we did!

Rehearsals for Trishool Dance Academy's fourth production are underway. The production is likely to be held in November so keep checking the website for updates on the show. For those who have already been to see a Trishool production, this one is guaranteed to raise the bar once again! For those who haven't seen a Trishool production, you do not want to miss out! The show will once again be a charity event so watch this space for when tickets go on sale. The event as always will be suitable for all generations so make sure you let as many people know about the production.
